Union of Arab Banks and The Hawkamah Bank Corporate Governance Award is a regional initiative aiming at recognizing, supporting and encouraging superior governance practices in the Banking sector in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Launched in 2007 by Hawkamah, the Institute for Corporate Governance and the Union of Arab Banks (UAB), the Award showcases Banks that have gone the extra mile in improving their corporate governance practices.
